THE COWS OF CARL BARKS INAUGURATE THE NEW MUMU COLLECTION.

The bovines of Walt Disney are the 'godmothers' of a section of the Cow Museum.
The new collection of MUMU is online: Cow cartoons, with three pictures taken from the cartoon story “Donald, sheriff in Valmitraglia", drawn in 1948 by the famous cartoonist Carl Banks. Here the cows are the protagonists – extras in a typical Texan tale where “the long-horned cattle were grazing and the bent-legged desperadoes only lived if they were the quickest to draw out their pistols !”. The bovines, despite being the subject of the story, occupy a secondary visual role and only appear in about ten drawings. They are farm-bred animals, chestnut brown in colour with a pink muzzle and white horns, marked with a double X on the side.
With these bovines of Walt Disney we inaugurate the new collection of the Cow Museum which will soon be enriched by new, amusing material.
